There is a certain hush that falls over a summer afternoon—when the sea seems to shimmer in stillness, and the air brushes skin like memory. This week, as the days lengthen and the light softens, I’ve curated a selection that is less about what we wear, and more about how we feel in motion. What touches the body should speak to the soul.

From within the atelier of FABA Collection, I invite you into a sensuous summer reverie—one stitched with silk, shadow, and soft luminosity.

Sun Glory – Halterneck Silk Backless Dress

This piece emerged not from trend, but from sensation: the feeling of warmth trickling down the spine, of air moving through open space. Sun Glory is named for what it captures—the full radiance of a woman uncontained.

Offered in both Silk Sensation polyester and our rare 100% silk satin, the dress skims the skin with a weightless gloss. The halter wraps gently at the neck, allowing the back to speak entirely for itself. There is an option for a train—because sometimes, we crave drama in the quietest ways.

Wear it barefoot by the sea or with golden heels on tiled terraces. This is not a dress for occasions. It is the occasion.

Blue Note – Men’s Bomber Jacket

Inspired by jazz and the electric hush of nightfall, Blue Note is for the man who doesn’t require boldness to be noticed. Available in quilted waterproof, satin, velvet, and jersey-lined cotton, it reinterprets masculinity as something tactile, nuanced—felt, not announced.

The cut is confident, the details deliberate. Over a crisp white tee or a linen button-down left casually undone, the jacket becomes a second skin for twilight walks, rooftop musings, or silent departures.

A Language of Texture

This week’s selection lives in contrasts: silk and stone, shadow and glint, ease and impact. I designed each piece not simply to be worn, but to be remembered by the body.

Garment Fabric Feeling Evoked
Sun Glory 100% Silk or Satin Blend Liquid sunlight, movement
Blue Note Satin / Velvet / Quilted Evening skin, cool tension

How I Envision You Wearing Them

  • Let Sun Glory fall against your collarbones with wet hair, sun-kissed skin, and little else. Add only a whisper of fragrance—this dress carries its own atmosphere.

  • Drape Blue Note over shoulders on evenings that taste like salt and sound like jazz. Let its weight remind you of presence, not performance.

This week, allow yourself to luxuriate in texture, not trend. In skin, not spectacle. The FABA woman and man live in the in-between—where elegance is not declared, but inhaled.

I hope these pieces become part of your summer memory. For more summer reveries, visit What's Trending This Week!
