Latest Artwork - Concussion Panel 4
Dear Art Lovers,
A couple of weeks ago, I had a small surfing incident and I was pretty much laid out during that time. I had a concussion. Ten feet waves proved to be too much of a challenge for this novice surfer. The end result of this forced rest period is an oil painting that is abstract, chaotic, energetic and in my opinion, a lot of fun. Everytime I look at it, I discover something new. I find it exhilarating.
Concussion - Panel 4 - Oil Painting is the fourth panel of the Secret Life of Plants series.
Painted while recovering from a surfing concussion, I painted this oil painting that I first rejected as a failure. As I continued to work on it, the chaotic energy of it all started to fall into places and take a life of its own.
The oil painting with its pink, blue, and green hues reminds me of a small concrete garden that hasn't been tended and is taking over its surroundings, wildflowers, earth, and sky, and all that lives in between.
Dimensions:

I've also created a white metal print of it. Check it out here!

Drop me an email and let me know if you like it or not?
With gratitude,
